Black Organizing for Leadership and Dignity (BOLD) will never share, sell, exchange, or release your personal information (name, email address, mailing address, phone number, credit card data, etc.), regardless of its source, to any third parties. This applies to both online and offline donations. BOLD’s privacy policy is compliant with the Association of Fundraising Professionals’ Code of Ethical Standards.

 

Online Donations

Donations made via boldorganizing.org are processed through NeonPay, a product of NeonOne, and are subject to their privacy policy. NeonPay collects a variety of personal information to process the donation properly. This personal information may include name, address, phone, email address, credit card information, and donation amount.


NeonPay does not use the personal information that donors provide for any purpose except to complete the transaction and to provide a confirmation (receipt) for the donation. Individuals who donate to BOLD, online or otherwise, are subscribed to our email list and have the option to opt-out.

 

Security of Online Donations

BOLD’s website is secured with Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology to keep your personal information and transactions secure.

 

Email Subscription

BOLD sends occasional emails to donors, interested individuals who subscribe online, or personal contacts. Subscribers may choose to unsubscribe at any time using a link located at the bottom of each email.

 

Correcting, Updating, or Removing Personal Information

If your contact information changes, or if you would like any of your personal information removed from our database, including our email list, BOLD will correct, update, or remove any personal information at your request. To make such a change, please contact us.
