We have an exciting opportunity to help you further your campaign work as we bring back the
Movement for Black Lives’ Electoral Justice League Fellowship! We are awarding $75,000 to 12 Black-led organizations that are expanding democracy and building political power in
defense of Black lives.
If you’ve heard enough, click here to apply!
The Electoral Justice League Fellowship strives to enhance the capacity of Black-led organizations to expand and mobilize the Black electorate, invest in Black communities, and reimagine a democracy that is transparent, participatory and community-led.
We must take a multifaceted approach to securing our freedom – a radical freedom for safe communities, economic security, freedom to earn a livelihood, freedom to live a healthy life, freedom from exploitation and violence, and a freedom to develop a true democracy. We believe that our power is too great, our voices too necessary, our lives too valuable to leave out even one tool in our struggle for freedom.
The fellowship runs from August 2021 to December 2022 and the application deadline is June 30, 2021 at 11:59PM PT/ 2:59AM ET.
We look forward to receiving your applications.
In solidarity,
Rukia Lumumba
